Free Web Site for Nonprofits

If your organization still does not have a web presence, and you still believe you don't have the money or the time to invest in getting a web site, you have no more excuses.

OrgSites.com is offering a free, template-driven web site to all nonprofit organizations. There are not a lot of options for page design or layout, but it's quick and easy to set up, and it's free. You basically type in the information that you want on your page, and their templates lay it out for you.

Here are a few examples of groups with orgsites.com web sites:
* Pet Assistance Foundation of San Diego
* Los Gatos Horseman's Association
* Homeless Shelters - A New Beginning (Grand Rapids)

I believe that you will be better served by investing in your own domain name and a design that matches your image, but if "free" is what it takes to get you online, check this out. I do think that these sites can be very good for small, local organizations like PTA's or small church groups.
